Fremantle is a major Australian port city in Western Australia, surrounded by the Swan River to the north and north-west, the Indian Ocean to the west and White Gum Valley to the east. The traditional owners of the land, on which Fremantle is built are the Whadjuk Noongar people who called the area Walyalup. Fittingly, they consider Fremantle as a place of ceremonies, significant cultural practices and trading.
We are delighted to welcome you to the Esplanade Hotel Fremantle from 3 – 5 April 2018 for the 26th Annual Conference of the Australasian Society for Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering.
In the tradition of the Society showcasing trans-disciplinary research we once again welcome a mix of scientists from various disciplines together with clinicians and company representatives with an interest in the development and application of biomaterials. We are joined by scientists from around the world and hope that the meeting will provide an exciting venue to initiate new ideas and collaborations. The Society highly values student/ECR experience and we envisage this meeting will also serve as a vibrant platform to pave the way for the next generation of biomaterials researchers.
The 26th Annual Conference of the Australasian Society for Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering Conference 2018 program will cover the following topics:
- Advanced Imaging and Computational Modelling
- Mechanobiology and Cell Signalling
- Drug Delivery and Diagnostics
- Biosensing and Biointerfaces
- 3D Bioprinting and Regenerative Scaffolds
- Stem Cells and Cell Therapy
- Industrial Translation
We know you will enjoy the talks and posters and the opportunity to catch up with old friends and make new ones while enjoying Western Australia’s Sights and Sounds.
We look forward to welcoming you to Fremantle in 2018.
